New Orleans - The federal government has just announced new charges against Former Jefferson Parish President Aaron Broussard and former Parish Attorney Tom g Wilkinson.
The new 38 count superseding indictment focuses on the hiring of Broussard's then wife Karen Parker Broussard for a paralegal position she was not qualified to hold.
The new counts allege Broussard used taxpayer money to reward parish attorney Wilkinson for helping Broussard's family member in the competitive admissions process at a local private school where Wilkinson was a board member.
