New Orleans - The spectacular spectacle that was the Super Bowl Parade hatched some ideas in the minds of the NFL's top brass.
The world's most famous float builders bring the NFL to their turf.
"They wanted something that would show off New Orleans and would look great on national television and talk about what we do and what we are and I think this parades gonna do that," Barry Kern said.
Workers at Blaine Kern Studios are doing fourth quarter touches to a show that will launch a season and a battle between two of football's most exciting teams. The Saints and the Vikings will do battle.
"You'll have to wait to see the final product on street with all the special stuff," Kern said.
There will be special stuff, and commercial stuff that New Orleans Mardi Gras revelers haven't seen before. The parade is an ode to NFL sponsors.
"We have floats from Visa, EA Sports, Pepsi, Snickers.
You wouldn't normally see that at a Mardi Gras parade but they're brands we recognize."
Kern Showed off the EA Sports float that has Drew Brees coming out of a flat screen TV, and a riverboat float that has never been used in a New Orleans parade before.
"Bob Costas is going to be riding this float as he comes into Jackson Square," he said.
No sign of Favre in this parade.
This will be the most punctual parade in New Orleans history. It's a television parade.
