“New Orleans Police S.O.D. Task Force Units Booked 18 Alleged Felons”
The New Orleans Police Department’s Special Operations Division (S.O.D) Task Force Unit investigated 142 complaints and 16 previous complaints, yielding 32 arrests for 24 Felonies, 23 Misdemeanor and 6 Municipal. Officers stopped 63 vehicles and wrote 9 Citations. They conducted 47 Wanted Checks, executed 1 Search Warrant, made 86 Pedestrian Checks, wrote 45 reports and confiscated 8 guns.
Since July of 2010, Officers investigated approximately 8,715 complaints, executed approximately 121 Search Warrants, made approximately 1,305 Felony cases, conducted approximately 3,443 vehicle checks, issued approximately 405 citations, made approximately 171 Narcotics cases, confiscated approximately 135 guns and numerous amounts of Illegal Substances.

Aisha Anderson 25, for a Fugitive Attachment from Jefferson Parish for Traffic violations, Failure to Signal, No Seat Belt and Unlawful Use of a Drivers License.

Jonathan Alexander 25, for First Degree Murder and 3 Counts of Attempted First Degree Murder.

Anthony Green 17, for Attempted First Degree Murder and a Municipal Attachment for MandatorySchool Attendance.
Christopher Baham 23, for Armed Robbery and a Municipal Warrant for Resisting Arrest.
Darrelyn Smith 24, for Armed Robbery and Aggravated Battery.
Leroy Brock 42, for Aggravated Rape, Second Degree Kidnapping and Domestic Battery.

Project Safe Neighborhood Detective Kori Keaton conducted 7 Knock and Talk Convicted Felon Checks. Three arrests were made.
Edward London 24, for Possession of Marijuana with Narcotics, Possession of Marijuana and a Convicted Felon with a Firearm.
Randell Marshall 20, for a Capias and a Probation violation.
Hector Caballero 31, for Driving Under the Influence and Battery on a Police Officer.

Any person who, after the commission of a felony, shall harbor, conceal, or aid the offender, knowing or having reasonable ground to believe that he has committed the felony, and with the intent that he may avoid or escape from arrest, trial, conviction, or punishment shall be charged with R.S. 14:25; Relative to Accessories After the Fact.
An accessory after the fact may be tried and punished, notwithstanding the fact that the principal felon may not have been arrested, tried, convicted, or amenable to justice.
Whoever becomes an accessory after the fact shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars, or imprisoned, with or without hard labor, for not more than five years, or both; provided that in no case shall his punishment be greater than one-half of the maximum provided by law for a principal offender.
