04:04 Hours                                        2700 blk Monticello Ave.                           P/O T. Clark

 

Victims:   1) Male , 05/07/95

                 2) Male, 10/24/88

 

Gist:  The victims met a female on the internet and went to the above location to meet with the female.  When the victims pulled up to the location the female was standing outside.  The victims exited their vehicle to talk with the female.  Three subjects armed 95g came from the alleyway of the above location and ordered the victims on the ground.  The subjects went through the victims' pockets and took their belongings and fled in the victims' vehicle.

Gist:  The victims were approached by an unknown black male armed with a semi-automatic weapon who demanded their belongings.  As they were complying, a second subject approached.  The subjects ordered them to run, they both complied and the subjects fled the area.

Gist:  Victim and perpetrator were involved in a verbal altercation.  The perpetrator stabbed the victim with a box cuter. ***********************************************************************

Gist: Victim left a store and entered her vehicle, at which time a black male wearing  blue jeans, dark colored shirt and a colorful baseball hat, approached her vehicle and knocked on her driver side window with a black unknown hand gun.  The unknown male stated "give me your money" she handed him cash.  The unknown male then fled on a lime green bike.

   Gist:  Perpetrator was attempting to steal copper from the location.  The victim discharged his weapon striking the perpetrator.

Gist: The victim was approached by an Asian male armed with a gun.  The perpetrator demanded the victim's property and the victim complied.  The victim started running and the perpetrator fired a shot at the victim.  The perpetrator fled in a Green Kia Soul and was apprehended a short time later. ************************************************************************

Around 6:20pm, Fourth District officers responded to a call of burglary suspects fleeing the 1200 block of Vallette Street. Over the course of the initial investigation, detectives learned the owner of the property fired shots at the suspects. One of the suspects, a 50 year old male, sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to the hospital. He is currently in stable condition. The other suspect,  a 34 year old Joseph Cross will be charged with Theft of Copper, he was not injured in the shooting ...

 

The property owner has been questioned by NOPD. The investigation is ongoing and the NOPD will present its findings to the District Attorney’s Office as soon as possible.
