Suspect Wanted for Sexual Assault
New Orleans - The New Orleans Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a suspect wanted in connection for a sexual assault. The offense occurred on November 24, 2010, at the intersection of
Crowder Boulevard and Haynes Boulevard, at approximately 4:05 A.M.
According to investigators, the 20-year-old female victim was consuming alcohol during the night while on
Bourbon Street with her girlfriend and the girlfriend’s cousins when she elected to leave the location and got into the vehicle with one of the cousins. The suspect drove to the intersection where he stopped in front of a residence and sexually assaulted the victim.
The suspect is described as an African American male, approximately 5’9” in height, approximately 200 pounds, heavy set with a small gap in between his teeth and shoulder length dread locks. The suspect was wearing all black clothing.
The vehicle is described as a Dodge Charger.
Sex Crimes Detectives are in charge of the investigation and can be reached at 658-5521.
