Murder Investigation on North Rocheblave
Investigation is underway
New Orleans- The New Orleans Police Department is investigating the murder of a 22-year-old local male, whose name is being withheld pending notification of family members. The offense occurred at approximately 8:15 P.M., in the 2000 block of
North Rocheblave Street.
According to investigators, Fifth District officers responded to a call of a “male shot” and upon their arrival, found the victim lying on the sidewalk with apparent gunshot wounds to the body. Emergency medical technicians were summoned to the scene where they pronounced the victim dead.
Currently, investigators are in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) involved in this incident, as well as a motive. Homicide Detective Kevin Burns is in charge of the investigation and can be reached at 658-5300. You could receive a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the responsible person(s). Callers do not have to give their name nor testify to receive the cash reward.
