Members of the Sixth District are currently investigating an Attempted Simple Kidnapping that occurred on November 4, 2010 at 7:30am.
The victim was walking at the intersection of Terpsichore and Carondelet streets when a white four door sedan with black interior pulled up next to her. The driver exited the vehicle and tried to push the victim into his car. The victim fought back with the subject and was able to escape. The driver then entered his vehicle and fled the scene.
The victim described the perpetrator as a black male, brown complexion, thin mustache, with an athletic/stocky build. He was approximately 5’9” in height and weighed around 190 pounds.
The perpetrator was last seen wearing a dark blue button down shirt and dark colored pants.
A computer composite of the perpetrator has been attached to this email blast.
