Suspect Arrested for Sexual Battery
New Orleans – Members of the New Orleans Police Department have arrested 17-year-old Gordon Gabriel, for a sexual battery that occurred on October 24, 2010, at approximately 5:00 P.M., in the 3400 block of Garden Oaks Drive.
According to investigators, the 5-year-old victim was playing outside when she was sexually assaulted by the perpetrator. The mother of the child notified police on October 28, 2010 who immediately began their investigation.
Gabriel, an acquaintance to the victim, was positively identified on scene as the person responsible for the sexual assault. Gabriel was arrested and booked with sexual battery.
