Armed Robbery - 07-19-2010

E-mail Print PDF
On Monday, July 19th, 2010 at 10:15 P.M., the victim was being dropped
off by his friend in the 5700 block of Pasteur Boulevard, when he was
approached by an unknown b/m subject who raised a black semi-automatic
handgun to him and demanded his money, to which he replied that he had
none. A second unknown b/m subject then approached the victim from
the rear and struck him in the head with a revolver-type handgun,
causing him to lose consciousness. This subject then approached the
friend and pointed the handgun at him, to which he grabbed the
subject's arm and accelerated his vehicle, dragging him several feet,
before he was able to free himself. As the friend was driving away,
he heard gunshots; fearing that his friend had been shot, he quickly
reversed his vehicle, causing the perpetrators to flee the scene on
foot. The friend found the victim not to be shot and helped him into
the house, during which he regained consciousness. The victim did not
initially notify the police until Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 for fear
of retaliation by the perpetrators.
