On Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010 at around 10:34 A.M., the victim and his
sister, Jasmine Broyard (B/F 02-20-1986) were arguing at their home in
the 5900 block of Elysian Fields Avenue, over household chores. The
victim gathered his belongings so he could leave and locked himself in
his bedroom to get away from his sister, when she kicked in the door,
grabbed a lamp, broke its light bulb and stabbed the victim in the
chest. Another sibling entered the room and broke up the fight.
Responding Officers apprehended and arrested Ms. Broyard, who was
charged in the above offense.
