Recent criminal activity, relative to car burglaries, has shown a prevalence for victims to leave their cars, or other vehicles, unlocked. This makes it entirely too easy for the perpetrators to accomplish entry. I am asking you to make a concerted effort to lock your vehicles and to encourage your neighbors to lock their vehicles. Let's not make crime an easy job. If their job is easy they will never look for real work. Please do not leave items of value inside of your cars. Purses, laptops, cameras, GPS devices and key rings are exceptionally inviting to these dregs of society. Lock these items in the trunk or take them inside. They present a very lucrative opportunity for the useless.
