On Monday, September 6th, 2010 at around 9:50 P.M., the victims were getting into their vehicle in the 4300 block of Toulouse Street, when they were approached by two unknown b/m subjects, both of whom were armed with handguns. The perpetrators searched one of the victims, taking money from his pockets, then demanded to enter the victim's home. As the victims entered their home, one of them slammed the door one of the perpetraor's arm and ran into the kitchen, at which time he heard three shots fired and heard his friend yell "I'm hit." Both perpetrators then fled the scene. Perpetrator # 1 is described as being 22-24 years old, 6' tall, weighing 150-160 lbs, with a thin build, short hair cut, beard, wearing a white tank top and a black shirt over his head. Perpetrator # 2 is described as being 16-17 years old, 5'8" tall, weighing 130-140 lbs, clean shaven, wearing a white tank top and a black shirt over his head. One of the victim's sufferred a gunshot wound to his angle and was treated for his injury.
