Suspect Wanted for Possession of Stolen Property
New Orleans/>, LA/>/> – Members of the New Orleans Police Department are requesting the public's assistance in locating 54-year-old Rodney Wells, wanted in connection with possession of stolen property from a residence burglary that occurred on August 9, 2010, shortly after 9:00 A.M., in the 1500 block of
According to investigators, the suspect forced entry into the victim's residence, took several items and fled the residence.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, First District detectives positively identified Wells as the person responsible that sold the victim's shutters to a local salvage company.
Anyone having information concerning this crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111 or toll free for long distance at 1-877-903-STOP (7867). Callers do not have to give their name nor testify in court.
