8th District Community Anti-Crime Walk TIME CHANGE To
4:30 P.M.
Join Superintendent Ronal Serpas, Captain Edwin Hosli, members of the 8th District and other City leaders for our monthly community anti-crime walk on Tuesday, November 23, at 4:30P.M., We will follow this route:
Begin at Chartres and St. Peter Streets,
proceed down
St. Peter Street (3 blocks),turn left on
Dauphine Street (4 blocks),turn right on
Bienville Street (one block),turn right on
Burgundy Street (3 blocks),turn right on
Toulouse Street (4 blocks), end at Chartres and Toulouse.
The community walks provide you with an opportunity to meet and interact with the police that serve your area and spread the message that the police and community stand together in our efforts to combat violence. As we walk, we provide vital Crimestoppers information and leaflets to citizens we encounter. The walk is held simultaneously in all police districts to show solidarity of our effort throughout the police department.
