Sex Crimes Detectives Investigate a Sexual Assault
New Orleans - The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a sexual assault of a 30-year-old female by an acquaintance. The offense occurred on September 22, 2010, in the 500 block of
Governor Nicholls Street, at approximately 9:00 P.M.
According to investigators, the victim and the subject were in a relationship that ended in July of 2010. The subject arrived at the victim’s residence and demanded to be allowed in at which time the victim refused. Subsequently, the subject forced his way into the residence and sexually assaulted the victim.
Currently, detectives are in the process of investigating the offense and can be reached at 658-5521.
