The Upper Audubon Association (UAA) is a neighborhood association with a vision of maintaining and improving quality of life and property values. The boundaries of the organization are St. Charles Avenue to the Mississippi River and Walnut Street to Broadway Street and includes approximately 440 addresses. Our active neighborhood association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Answering a desperate need for police translators, ProjectNOLA is creating a special “Language Line” for local law enforcement, and needs YOUR HELP should you be fluent in both English and a second language. Volunteers, who may remain anonymous, must be willing to receive occasional phone calls from our routing system, and be prepared to act as a telephone translator between police officers, victims, and witnesses. PLEASE JOIN THIS GROUP SHOULD YOU WISH TO HELP OR SUPPORT THIS EFFORT!
A subdistrict of the Central City/Garden District Area, its boundaries as defined by the City Planning Commission are: St. Charles Avenue, Felicity, Thalia, Magazine and Julia Streets to the north, the New Orleans Morial Convention Center, Crescent City Connection and Mississippi River to the east, Felicity, Magazine and Constance Streets, Jackson Avenue, Chippewa and Soraparu Streets to the south and 1st Street to the west.
We have a Brothers store: A library 4 Schools one one the River Road is Waggaman: The other Norbert rilieux off River Road ; And Cherbonnier School on Dandelieon and Live Oak on Acadia Dr and a Library and Thomas Jefferson Park and the Gym : The neighbor is growing more and more each day. They open up Danelion to Live Oak Blvd .
We do have a Civic group: meets once the month at the Gym Meeting Room.
The gym as sports for the kids: Sign up for a event: They do need help with Coaches. Help ! Come out and meet your neighbors.
Lots of things been happened out here. At one time we had C.O.P. (Citizen on Partol). Got dismissed. We try to get the C.O.P back and got refused on it. We did started up a neighborhood watched. Only a few step up. Some don't want to get involved because they don't want to sit in court.
