Answering a desperate need for police translators, ProjectNOLA is creating a special “Language Line” for local law enforcement, and needs YOUR HELP should you be fluent in both English and a second language. Volunteers, who may remain anonymous, must be willing to receive occasional phone calls from our routing system, and be prepared to act as a telephone translator between police officers, victims, and witnesses. PLEASE JOIN THIS GROUP SHOULD YOU WISH TO HELP OR SUPPORT THIS EFFORT!

As a Tour Guide I Observed The Tagging That Is Being Done By Skate Boarder Gangs With New Defacing Of French Quarter Homes Business As These Thugs On Wheels Spray Paint Their Logo"s. The latest Historic Building To Fall Victim Within The Last 24 Hours Is The Ursuline Convent, Church Next Door And Several Other Homes In That Area It Seems Evident and Clear That The City Council The Vieux Carre Commission and Local Media Are Not Interested In Covering and Correcting What I View as a Very Serious Problem. The City Is Our Oyster The French Quarter Is The Pearl However Lately Our Once Beautiful Pearl Is Looking Like Harlem
